At Summit Basenjis, we raise exceptional animals in a loving and caring environment. Dedicated to following a responsible breeding program, our focus is on keeping our Basenjis healthy and happy. All of our dogs are health tested following the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals’ recommendations for available tests for the breed. We pride ourselves on raising structurally correct Basenjis with versatility — loving companions that can excel in conformation showing as well as in many other dog sports and activities.

At Summit Basenjis, we have been building our reputation as a trusted Dog Breeder in Calgary, Alberta, Canada since we bred our first dogs (Miniature Pinschers) back in 2006. We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety and perpetual well-being of all our pets. That’s why the happiest days for us are when one of our animals is welcomed into a loving, permanent home with a caring family. While all puppies are adorable, we consider the decision to add a Basenji to the home to be a lifetime commitment and a serious responsibility.
